OneSongEveryDay was founded by writer, producer and lifelong music lover James Sayer in June 2019.

“Having spent years inflicting my music taste on anyone who would listen (I called it ‘recommending’ but okay), I thought I’d share my discoveries with the whole world. I spend most of my time searching for new music, so it doesn’t matter if we’re talking a multi-million selling pop icon or an up-and-coming talent making tracks out of their bedroom: if I love it, I’ll feature it.”

The way OneSongEveryDay works is simple:

  • One new song posted every day. ‘New’ is defined as released recently, or having not yet attracted widespread attention.
  • Each artist is featured a maximum of once a month, to ensure variety.
  • No negative reviews – all the songs are here because I love them and I think you might too!
  • Flashbacks every Friday, to celebrate some of the classics – tracks have to be at least 10 years old to count as a Flashback!
