LA-based rising star Grace Gaustad has been picking up her fair share of attention over the last year – and deservedly so: take just one listen to this track and you’ll understand why. Right from the outset, ‘Creature’ establishes itself as a confident synthy banger with that strutting beat and bassline accompanying her chocolatey vocals. The chorus is relatively stripped-back compared to the rest of the track, but it really emphasises that stuttering siren in the post-chorus which explodes out of the track directly afterwards. It literally demands your attention, and sticks around in your head long after the song finishes. Imagine THAT in a packed club setting, won’t it be such a vibe?
