The stunning outro to Daniel Briskin’s debut mixtape, ’18’ is a forward-thinking take on the coming of age theme.

I first featured London-based artist and producer Daniel Briskin back in September, with the standout single ‘Boy On The Lake‘. There was something really ethereal and fresh about the sound he captured for that track, and ’18’ – the introspective and melodic closing track to his mixtape ‘Forever Was A Feeling’ – builds on it brilliantly. It goes without saying that it’s a well-produced beauty, and the tone of his voice is incredibly expressive throughout, bringing power and vulnerability to the track as it progresses. The way that layered production brings a synergy between the sung sections and faster-paced spoken lines is really impressive.
