14 JUNE 2021: CELESTE – Tonight Tonight

Like many of Celeste’s singles, this one feels like a future classic in the making.

Celeste’s rise and rise over the last few years has been a real joy to watch. Having been hailed as the BBC’s Sound of 2020, and the BRITs Rising Star in the same year, she finally gifted us her debut studio album ‘Not Your Muse’ back in January. ‘Tonight Tonight’ – taken from that album – has been given a suitably moody and atmospheric video this month, and it’s perhaps my favourite track she’s released to date. The unmistakable, soulful tone of her voice sounds lively and full of character against the timeless production, and there’s something about the melody of this one which is utterly captivating.
