In the lyrics of ‘Sacrifice’, Bebe Rexha is imploring a partner to devote themselves to her 100%, and the melody with which she does this is a really hypnotic one. The 90s house vibes on this one are so strong, meaning ‘Sacrifice’ would sit perfectly alongside some of the great classics of the genre, and also joins the wave of these retrofuturistic pop tracks which sound super contemporary right now. If this is any indication of the sound she’s exploring on her upcoming new album, then I for one am very excited to hear how it turns out.
