Isac Elliot began his career as a teen idol in his native country, and as is to be expected, over the years his sound has matured as he has grown into a fully-fledged popstar. The sort of stuff he’s releasing nowadays is everything you’d want from Scandinavian pop. ‘Ghost’ is the kind of track which would undoubtedly be a worldwide hit in the hands of someone more well-known, and it deserves so much more attention than it’s enjoyed so far. The chanting, singalong style of the chorus is instantly catchy, and there are shades of ‘Every Breath You Take’ in the chord progression, which gives the track a comforting nostalgia.
