‘Wait’ is another atmospheric synthpop anthem from Capulets.

Capulets certainly have a brand: when it comes to rich, uplifting synthpop, they’re quickly claiming it as their space in the pop landscape. ‘Wait’, their latest single, is one of their most haunting tracks to date. It opens with a wonderfully stripped back synth-and-solo voice combo which is both dark and warm, allowing the stunning melody to really shine for that first ‘wait, wait, wait, wait, wait…‘ section. The track builds perfectly, with that change in the chord sequence for the final chorus being a brilliant way to mirror the hope in the lyrics.
