Miriam Bryant has been one of my most listened-to artists of the last decade. Having begun her career releasing records in English, such as the iconic ‘Dragon‘ and mega hit ‘Push Play’, more recently she has made the familiar move of switching languages and focusing on the Swedish market. Judging by the local chart success and critical acclaim, it seems to be paying off, with ‘Passa Dig’ being her best track in years. The trademark classic production is atmospheric and moody, and it provides the perfect backdrop for her rich vocals. Without even needing to understand the lyrics, the beautiful juxtaposition of strength and torture in her voice can convey any message with perfect clarity. What an artist.
